What it does

Audience-aware impressions on every in-store screen.

Traditional in-store measurement counts play without confirming viewers. Osmos pairs each ad play with a sensor presence signal in ±5 seconds to produce IAB-aligned verified impressions. Retailers price verified inventory at premium CPMs. Brands gain confidence with in-store spends.

Verified impressions

Every ad play paired with a presence signal from a certified sensor partner within ±5 seconds. IAB-aligned methodology that goes beyond modeled OTS.

Audience demographics

Age range, gender, and group composition captured at the impression level. Aggregated demographic buckets only. No biometric identifiers stored.

Works on hardware you already have

Most stores need no new install. USB webcams, IP cameras, and existing CCTV all work with certified sensor partners like Quividi, Advertima, and RetailNext.

Privacy-first

Osmos stores no raw video or biometric identifiers, only aggregated demographic buckets. Shopper IDs are hashed with SHA-256. GDPR and CCPA compliant.

frequently asked questions

Your questions, answered.

Answers about how Osmos In-Store sits inside your store stack.

What hardware do we need?

Most stores need no new hardware. Existing USB webcams, IP cameras, and CCTV all work with certified sensor partners. For stores with no compute or no camera access, a small edge device (NUC-class) handles the workload.

How does this measure who’s in front of the screen?

Certified sensor partners (Quividi, Advertima, RetailNext) detect presence, demographics, dwell time, and attention. Osmos pairs each ad play with that presence signal within ±5 seconds to generate verified impressions. When sensor data is unavailable, OTS (Opportunity to See) is modeled from footfall and dwell.

What about privacy?

No raw video or biometric identifiers are stored. Sensor partners process video at the edge and return aggregated demographic buckets only, never individual identification. Shopper IDs are hashed using SHA-256 at minimum. All ingestion and reporting is GDPR and CCPA compliant.

What’s the relationship to Store Lift?

Footfall Analytics measures impressions and audience. Store Lift, also in the In-Store app suite, attributes ad exposure to sales lift across exposed and control stores. Run together, you cover the full chain from who was there to whether the ad moved the sale.

When does sales attribution land?

Phase 1, available in Early Access today, covers audience and impression measurement plus POS sales ingestion at the store level. Phase 2, sales lift attribution via test and control store comparison, is on the roadmap. Phase 3, deterministic shopper-level attribution via unified loyalty IDs, follows after.

Which partners are supported today?

Quividi, Advertima, and RetailNext are the certified sensor partners in Early Access. Each is normalized into the same audience schema, so reporting stays consistent regardless of which partner powers a given store. Additional partners are being added through the Early Access cohort.

How does OTS work when no sensor is in the store?

Opportunity to See (OTS) is a modeled impression count derived from store footfall and dwell-time benchmarks. It is how the page reports for stores that have not yet deployed a certified sensor. Verified impressions remain the gold standard. OTS is the bridge until full sensor coverage is in place.
